So What is Plex?
Revolution Haircare's Plex range is made up of four formulas (steps 3, 4, 5 and 6) that contain a triple weight molecular protein system that targets different layers of the hair fibre to help restore and strengthen your strands from within. Now for the technical bit. The protein system is made up of three types of plant protein that target different parts of the hair fibre – phytantriol and provitamin B5 work together to keep the hair nice and hydrated and healthy, whilst a blend of conditioning agents help soften and smooth the hair. Suitable for all hair types, steps 3, 4, 5 and 6 treatments are all SLS and SLES free, as well as being cruelty-free and vegan, too!
Plex 3 Bond Restore Treatment
Revolution Plex 3 is a restoring and conditioning plex treatment and is used before you apply your shampoo and conditioner. Wet your hair and towel try it, then apply Revolution Plex 3, leaving it on for 10–15 minutes, or overnight if a deeper conditioning treatment is required. Use once or twice a week as desired and follow with steps 4,5 and 6.
Plex 4 Bond Plex Shampoo and Plex 5 Bond Plex Conditioner
Plex 4 is a shampoo that gently cleanses the hair while helping to hydrate and care for stressed locks. Apply this to wet hair, massaging in the product from roots to ends before rinsing, then follow with Plex 5, the Bond Plex Conditioner. This formula is super nourishing and helps strengthen the hair from within, and it couldn't be easier to use. Apply a small amount to the mid-lengths and ends after shampooing, then work the product towards the roots where necessary. Leave on for a few minutes, then rinse and towel dry before moving onto Plex 6.
Plex 6 Bond Restore Styling Cream
After you've cleansed and hydrated the hair, time to protect it with this Styling Cream that provides both colour and heat protection while helping to reduce frizz. To use, simply apply a small amount to towel-dried hair, smoothing through the mid-lengths and ends, then style as desired!
